Sending Pictures As Attachments

A few days ago, it came to my attention that pictures that
I was sending as attachments suddenly were coming through
to the recipient as jibberish. Prior to that, I sent pix
on a regular basis without issue. I did install Norton
Systemworks about the same time, and, I'm also checking,
there, for any advice.

I'm not sure if this is where I should post such a
message, but, if you can point me in the right direction,
I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

Do you know what kind of mail client the user on the side is using and is
the gibberish showing up in the body of the message or is it contained in a
file named winmail.dat? The reason that I ask is that it could be two
possible reasons.

1) Your message format has been changed to RTF and/or using Word as your
e-mail editor. (one of the primary reasons recipients get the winmail.dat)

2) Person on other side is using Outlook and has received a message that was
encoded with User Defined. Sender needs to change encoding type to Western
European (ISO) or whatever is appropriate for their region.
