sending picture files

everytime I send a jpeg file, it is displayed as an open
attachment. I would just like the pictures sent as files
instead of opened and displayed in the body of the
message.
 
Choose Insert-> Attachment... instead of Insert-> Picture... Please note
that some application do show pictures all the time at the bottom like
Outlook Express
