sending movie back to dv camera

Whenever I try to send a movie back to my dv camera the video gets choppy and skips occasionaly, I have tried to retry and shut of virus protection but it still does the same thing,the video is 25 minutes long.
 
What is your set-up for the transfer? Are you using Firewire, USB, or some
other method. What program are you using to make the transfer with?
