Sending mail

I can receive mail fine, read, open etc...however when I try to reply or send
a mail it says this has been done successfully but just stores it in my
outbox.
I have checked my sent items and they are definately not sent?
Any ideas?

My collegues can send using exactly the same settings from Fasthosts.

Windows mail is sending the mail to my outbox not to the person I want to
send it to!
