Sending Mail with Lotus Notes

We're moving frome Exchange to Notes soon and I'm wondering if anyone has
any info about sending mail using Notes and Vb.Net (or C#).

Any help or suggestions for a tutorial are very much appreciated,

To start good luck with Notes usage as an email client/server.

As for your question, we ran into an issue when trying to code against the
notes email server for emailing purposes. That was one of the main reasons
we switched to Exchange Server cause we have several apps that are now
emailing through the application
 
That's what I'm afraid of. Exchange works so well. But unfortunately I have
no say.

Why unfortunately, maybe there are a lot of coworkers needed in future and
it is not your fault.
