Sending from Multiple Accounts

I've been having the same problem with having 5 e-mail accounts set-up in Outlook 2000, but not being able to select which account to send from when I create a message. I've previously tried the suggestions on this board, but with no such luck. I noticed that you can select which account to send from by going to the "options" tab, but that method isn't working for me because I always forget to visit the tab before sending. This is making me look very unprofessional! I previously used Outlook Express, which allowed me to select the account via a "from" field which was visible whenever I created a new message. Can the view in Outlook be configured to display such a field, as well? If not, I may have to go back to Outlook Express.

Thank you,
Michele

It's about time someone else has had this major problem. My senerio: I have exchange server 5.5 SP4 on a Windows NT 4 SP6a server and outlook 2000 on users. We have a internal email account and a external ISP account set up in Outlook which has been the senerio for 4-5 years. About 2 weeks ago, for no known reason, 7 users out of 30 received the error "No transport provider was available for delivery to this recipient" when trying to send external email. For some reason Outlook could no longer see my ISP account and is trying to use exchange to send. I started an Incident with Microsoft support and they had no solution to this problem except that I can't use Outlook 2000 any more . I was told I had to upgrade to 2003 before the problem will go away. They sent me to KB245446 as their solution. This is not exceptable for our company. Help! (This happened on Windows XP and 98 operating systems)
