After having messages from different Mail Accounts stuck in the Outbox
forever they finally all got sent after I clicked on Send/Receive in main
window (after originally clicking on Send in the original Created Mail
Message Window they went to the Outbox & sat there until I went back to
Send/Receive in the Main Window). But an interesting problem has arisen -
Only the messages created from the Default Account got stuck in the Outbox &
are still there

Anyone else had this occur?

<sigh> Have you bothered to read any of the other posts here?

You'd be surprised how often the same issues come up here,
over and over again.

Assuming you tried the WMUtil utility program, in what way
did it fail for you? We've seen close to 100% success in having
it clear out messages stuck in the Outbox.

Well its taken 3 attempts but Wmutil finally cleared out the Windows Mail
Outbox. I've switched to Windows Live Mail now & and it seems a lot healthier
but it also still disappears when I click on the Attach button as mentioned
in another post

Good to see that some of your mail issues are solved.

Sorry, I don't know what could cause the Attach button to make the
program exit, especially when you're having a similar issue with WMP.

For your interest Re attachment problem Steve Cochran suggested dragging the
file to the message & that worked fine but a bit archaic after the Windows
Express method where the directory pops up

Once again for your interest all my other problems have been solved by
resetting IE7 as follow:
In IE7/Tools/Internet Options/Advanced (at the bottom clicked on Reset) &
reset all the settings - restarted IE7.

Now Windows mail "Attach" works fine

WMP Open File works fine

IE7 Downloading a File/Save

Obviously the "browsing" technique as it is in XP is also in Vista and thus
it is essentilal that IE operates correctly to enable other Programs
functionality to operate.

Good find! Who would have thought that resetting IE would
solve all those problems.
