Has anybody had this problem on outlook2002 ?
When you click Send/Receive to process your outlook POP email sending , you
may be prompted for the user name and password over and over. Eventhough the
user login is correct.
Any idea ?
Henry

Either the mailserver is down or try one of the following;

For Outlook 2000 or 2002 on Win 98, NT, or 2000:

For Outlook 2000 on Windows 2000:

(IMO) http://support.microsoft.com/?id=259416

For all Outlook versions on Windows XP (just ignore the parts that refer to
Outlook Express):

For in a NT domain

I had the same thing, and I thought the mailserver was
down, but I could ping it from any computer but my own. It
turned out to be my firewall, because once I disabled it,
I had no problems with my email account.

Good to hear your problem is solved! :-)
