Sending e-mails in Outlook

When I click on send the e-mail does not go. I have to open it and keep pressing send and send/receive. Eventually it goes italic and then it does go., buit it's far from automatic and quich (like in Outlook Express which is instant)
 
Sounds to me that you have not got the outlook setup
correctly, you need to go into properties and then into
email's it will have an option on how long to check for
emails, set it for 2 mins and you should recieve and send
emails quicker

I'm having the same problem too...except mine goes to the
Outbox, and I have to click the Send/Receive before it is
sent.

Very strange..
