sending dvd recording

If you make a recording on a dvd, how do you send them by e-mail or store it.
 
A recording has to be on your computer to send it via e-mail, not on a
DVD. Also size is an issue. There are upload sites like PhotoBucket for
pictures and videos.

I have no idea what you mean by "or store it".
