Sending Data from a Form to a Table

Hi all,

Im pretty new to access and im trying to figure out how to send some data from a form to be stored onto a table.

for example

name : joe bloggs
store : 645
staff number : 7845987

If i entered this into text boxes and by clicking a command button i want it to send this info to a table to store the data.

If anyone could shed some light on this and the best way to go about it.

p.s im having to use access 2000 atm .. but hoping to upgrade to 2003 or 2007 within the next week or so. Just want to get my head round this to make it easier.

any advise would be greatly appreciated.
