I have Microsoft Outlook 2000. After upgrading the
operating system from Windows 98se to Windows XP Pro,
Outlook 2000 is can send and recieve email including
attachment. But Outlook 2000/2002 can not send or forward
any email that has attachment. Please help.

I have tried all I can think off, and have been unable to
resolve it. Please help.

Thanks.

Gez.

What kind of attachments are you sending? For security reasons Outlook
blocks files that include scripts (exe, bat, vbs, etc...). You need to send
these files in a compressed format.

Otherwise; how big are your attachments? The total mailsize is most likely
limited by your ISP. Can you send a simple txt-file as an attachemnt?

Hope this helps!

The size of the attachment is very small, 20kb. The
files are Excel, Word and text files only. No exe, .bat
or script files.

Thanks.

Is Outlook the only choice you could have? If no, use other
applications like Lotus Notes, Eudora, Netscape 7, etc.
