I have followed the instructions on sending a distribution
list as part of message. The attachment shows the list,
but when it is received, it is a blank file (message file)
with no data that is visable. What am I missing? I am
using outlook 2002. I have tried sending it both with and
with word as my editor.

List "the instructions" that you followed. You need to insert the DL as an
Outlook Item in an RTF message.

Instructions I followed are:
Open new message
click in body of message
On the Insert Menu, click item
click the folder that contains the DL -- Contacts
in the items list, click the dl you want then click ok
Send the message

I have unchecked the box to use Word as my editior and
have chosen Rich Text.

Assuming the recipient is using Outlook, this will work unless the DL is
corrupt or was created in a different version of Outlook.

I emailed it to myself at another one of my addresses.
Same version of outlook. All I got was a blank message
that was attached.
Any other ideas?
