When Outlook 2003 is closed and I click on a email like on the web to send
an email it doesn't appear to send it until I open outlook, is there a way
that I don't have to open outlook to send the message?

thanks

Outlook must be open to send mail.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to the
Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer

E-mail items that get added to the Outbox programmatically do not get
immediately sent. Only enough of Outlook gets loaded to create the new
e-mail item and put it into the Outbox. You have to load ALL of Outlook
to have it then able to actually send the pending outbound e-mails.
