You have to save it first - it shouldn't matter after that if it is still
open. But if you try to send it a 2nd time (regardless of editing it or
not) you will have to save it again (dumb, but . . . . ). Or, were you
trying to use Send - email from within Word (may be a different issue)?

What ??? Are you talking about me repeating someone's answer? What is "out
of time been back"? I can give you some links for proper posting if you
need them . . . . . :-D I know someone said save, but they also said
close / attach - which is not necessary. And they didn't mention it has to
be resaved for a 2nd send, or ask about sending from within Word itself . .

HAHAHAHA !! Guess I'm a little slow - day late and a dollar short, and all
that !!!! I'm able to send with .doc / .docx open - as long as I save first
.. . . .
