Is there any way to send a fax to oneself? Some sort of relay service or
such? I would like to test different formats to compare legibility and
general appearance. We only have one phone line available.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry. I was just hoping that there might be some generic method. We're
using QuickLink and Microsoft Works and Win98SE, and this was the only
newsgroup I found that seemed somewhat pertinent.

That would depend on your fax software and whether you are integrated with
Outlook--none of which you mentioned.

So is QuickLink fax software? If so you'd need to check with them.
For Microsoft Fax you can accomplish this by using [FAX:ME] as the sending
address in the Fax message. The fax will be rendered and sent to your Inbox
without actually dialing out.
