Hello to all those geniuses out there !

Simply, I want to send a fax from my Windows XP system
using the modem in my Windows 98SE system, over the
network.

Does anyone have any experience doing this?

Ideally, I'd like to send it from Outlook 2000 on my XP
system. But, the XP Fax Console can't find the modem on
my Win98Se machine. I have setup Microsoft Fax on the
Win98SE to enable net sharing for the modem as well. But,
I'm not sure how this all works.

Would I be best to use Simply Messenger or something?

No can do, then. Windows XP Fax cannot serve as client for Microsoft Fax and
Microsoft Fax cannot be installed on Windows XP.
