sending a delayed fax

I have windows XP. I'm attempting to fax a word document
to fax tomarrow. I have set the time and the fax is in
the pending mode. Do I have to leave the document open
or will the fax go at the proper time as long as my
computer is on?

I've sent fax immediately or "now" with no problem, but
this is the first delayed.

Anyone have an answer for me?

Well, you probably know the answer by now, since your
question was so long ago.. Like the printer, the FAX
will "spool" the output as a separate file and will wait
to send that. As soon as you are finished "printing" to
the FAX, you may exit your program or move on to your
next step..
