Outlook 2007, when I have one email in outbox it says it is sending 3
emails, I have removed RSS feeds.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Peter

Sorry, tried both of those, no joy!

How many accounts do you have defined?

Make sure you have the latest updates for outlook.

Is there anything in the Outbox or Sent Folder?

I have 3 accounts, if there is nothing in the outbox it doesn't send
anything, if I send each account individually it says sending 1 of 1, if I
do a "send All" it says 3 of 3, so it is adding 2.

I am reading a thread on this subject, will revert more. BTW, new computer,
newly configured accounts, mail was imported from old PST file which I
bought over on an external drive. I have Outlook since Outlook 98.

Thanks .... Peter

PS. No big problem, just I notice it all the time.

Yup. One for each account. It's an issue with Outlook 2007 that's been
mentioned multiple times here. Try putting each account in its own
send/receive group if you need to send from each. If they're aliases of one
another, try disabling sending through two of them.

OK, so it is an issue, the accounts are not related, and it is just a
surprise to see 3 going instead of the 1 I expect.

Microsoft is aware of this now?

Thanks again.... Peter

Did you try putting them in their own send/receive groups? If so, did it
help?

Beats me. I don't know how to find that out.

They are well aware of the problem. No idea if its going to be addressed in
SP1 though.

Thanks for all your help, if MS know about it then I won't be concerned,
just hope it is their repair order some day.

Again, thanks to all ... Peter
