Send with a key

Hello!

I don't know VBA but I guess that's what's needed to make my day. Sorry if
it's the wrong place to post this.

I would like to be able to send an email with a key. I mean that when I am
finished writing my email, instead of having to take the mouse and click on
the Send button, I would like to press a key (F3) and the email would be sent.

Is this possible? Could someone help me?

Thanks in advance, sincerely,
Joanie

Not possible through Outlook itself, although there are Windows utilities
that let you remap the keyboard. I don't keep track of them, though.

Control-enter is the builtin keyboard shortcut for 'send'; it's not F3,
but at least it'll save you needing to use the mouse.

Oh, and another one I actually use, now that I tried it without thinking
about what to press, is alt-S for send. I tend to only ever hit control-
enter by accident..

I can use control-enter at work, but it won't work on my home computer. Is
there a setting that I'm not using that will allow me to use control-enter to
send emails from home?

Are you using Word as the email editor at home? Control-enter only works
with the Outlook email editor. (look under 'keyboard shortcuts' in the
help for a bunch more keys, Send is in the 'for all items' section)

That did it. Thanks!
