"Send to word" problems...

I'm trying to export a number of powerpoint presentations
to Microsoft Word with two slides per page in the word
document. The "send to word" function gives me several
options, all of which require substantial editing in Word
(not really acceptable because I'm dealing with hundreds
of slides).

Printing the presentation to Acrobat Distiller produces
the desired results, except that now the file is in .pdf
format, creating new problems for bringing it back into
word.

Exporting all the slides as images works, but leaves me
with the same problem: I'm faced with manually formatting
hundreds of images to make them all fit two per page in
Word.

Does anyone have any solutions or suggestions? Microsoft's
knowledge base doesn't help and I haven't found any good
solutions on the web after hours of searching.

Thanks,

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

Since you do have the ability to print it to Adobe PDF,
save the PDF file as an RTF file and then open the RTF in
Word. Hopefully, it'll retain most of the formatting.

This is one for the wish list...

If Glenna's suggestion doesn't work, you might try this --

If you use the 3/page option when sending, you can format the rows for
the table all at once (when it's in Word) so that it forces the rows to
2/page.

Then, if you resize one slide thumbnail, you can use F4 or Ctrl+Y as a
repeat function through the rest of the slides. Just select them and hit
F4. It's quite fast if you're viewing multiple pages at once (check
Word's view options for that).

Or you can write a macro to go through and resize the images.
