I want to send one letter to multiple addresses, but I don't want the
addressees to get everyone else's email address? How can I do that? Is there
a way I can write one letter and cut and paste in address line?

Use Bcc instead of To. If you don't see the Bcc option, in the message
compose window click on View, All Headers.

If you put all the recipients names in the BCC box each recipient will only
see their own name or "Unknown"

OK So to be sure I understand, instead of putting addresses in the "to" box,
I list them all in BCC? Do I separate each with space and comma?

Use a space and semicolon.

If you type the email address in, hit Enter.. it will place a semicolon (;)
after it.
If you select a name from your contacts, a semicolon will automatically
appear.
