Send to mail recipient fails

I right-click on a picture in Windows Explorer and select Send to Mail
Recipient. Vista displays an Attach Files dialog and asks for the
Picture size. I click Attach, expecting Vista to ask me whether I
want to compress the file (as in XP) but nothing more happens. No
email is generated.

I'm using Windows Mail and I've temporarily disabled the Security
option to block attachments.
 
It works for me.
Look in Default Programs and make sure Windows Mail has all
three of its defaults.

Thanks - fixed. That was it. But better if Vista recognised the
failure and showed a dialog to correct it.
