In the "my pictures" folder, I used to be able to right
click on a file and choose send to email recipient. This
should automatically open my email program so I dont have
to attach pictures myself. I still have the option
available when i right click, but nothing happens at all
when I choose the send to email recipient option.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
John

Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...
This should solve the problem.

I got a message saying the process succeded, but it made
no difference at all.
Any other ideas?
Thanks
John

I was not sure it would work because you still had your right click, resize
working. Normally the REG...repairs both (and a lot of other things about
JPG) and when you loose one you loose the other.
Long shot would be try rebooting after running REG... again.
Maybe somebody else will jump in.
I am assuming here that your e-mail is Outlook or Outlook Express.

I'm guessing you are using Outlook Express?

Try the following:

Go to Start | Run and copy/paste the following command:
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /reg<
(everything between the > < exactly as it is)

(Check the path to msimn.exe to make sure that is correct)

Then open Internet Explorer and go to Tools | Internet Options | Programs
and set OE
as the default mail (and news) program.

I tried this, but still no difference. I get no reaction
at all when I click on "send to email recipient"
Any other ideas?
Thanks

Does Outlook Express function correctly
when launched from the .exe?
