I see two usability problems in the way the "Send to DV Camera" function
works.
1) If Movie Maker 2 is unable to start the camera recording there is no way
to retry without Movie Maker 2 having to re-render the movie. For long
(large) movies this can be very time consuming and extremely inconvenient.
There needs to be a retry option when Movie Maker 2 fails to start the
camera.
2) When Canon Optura 40 set to VCR "Record Pause" mode, Movie Maker 2 is
unable to start it recording. The camera has to be in either "Stop", or
"Play Pause" mode in order for Movie Maker 2 to start it recording. From
these modes it can take up to about 4 seconds to begin 'actual' recording,
thus missing the beginning of the video. Ability for Movie Maker 2 to start
camera recording from within VCR 'Record Pause" mode needs be added.
