Send Task Not Receiving Task Item?

Hi all,
Can someone suggest why A task assinged to me from someone comes to me as an
Email Item rather than a Task item as it was intended.

I can send a Task item to this person and it is received as a task item.
Both of us are using Outlook 2003.

Probably because the person didn't have your address marked for rich-text.

OK that didn't do it. I seems to be a problem on only one machine. I
disabled the antivirus and firewall software to test that way but nothing.
Any other ideas?
 
What kind of mail servers are involved? Maybe one of them is stripping the RTF content?

It's Internet Email Account. Both machines use the same server and
provider; yet only one is having this problem.

What kind of mail servers are involved? Maybe one of them is stripping the
RTF content?
