send / recieve email

hi,

hope someone can help?

i'm unable to send or recieve email using windows mail.

error message below:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.btinternet.com',
Server: 'mail.btinternet.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes,
Socket Error: 10051, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

any help appreciated.

Why are you using SSL and port 995? As far as I know, your server
does not support it.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Advanced,
then uncheck the SSL option. The incoming server port should change
to port 110; if it doesn't, make that change manually.
 
I also cannot send email, here is the message I am recieving...... Subject
'Fw: Game details 3/20 vs ECFC M95 Blue', Account: 'gearsale.com', Server:
'gearsale.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '+OK Dovecot ready.', Port:
110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC60
