Send/Recieve button disappeared

I am using Outlook 2000. I just installed it and there is no Send/Receive
button in the toolbar. I have gone to Tools - clicked on customize - then
commands and selected tools from the left toolbar. However, in the right
commands list there is no Send/Receive option for me to select. Anyone have
any clues?
