Send/Receive Problems

I have two different email addresses coming into Windows Mail, for one the
messages download automatically and then to receive the others I have to
press the send/receive button. This I don't actually mind.

The more annoying problem that has just started is that when I now press the
send/receive button it downloads all of one of the inboxes and even when
this is empty it is 115 messages everytime?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

That typically indicates a 'stuck' email on the server.
Log in to that account via webmail (using your browser), delete all the
older ones you've already downloaded, plus one more.
Try Windows Mail again.

Their is a checkbox on the General tab of account properties 'include this
account when send/receive' etc, ensure it is checked.
Tools>accounts>select your affected account>properties>General.

The account that is polling the same messages may have become corrupted?

Try removing and rebuilding the account with a closure of WM between.
