Andreas, Thank you for attempting to help me. I was able to solve the problem
myself. I went to the the other Outlook boards, read all the posts regarding
send/receive and got some ideas but not the "right" one. While exploring the
ideas I found the option under Tools to restore defaults. I did that on all
of the tabs. Once the defaults were put back the program prompted me to
configure the pop 3 mail accounts again, I did that for one account, did a
test and it worked fine. When I exited the wizard, the software told me that
it had found another account, I ok'd installing that and like magic,
everything is back to normal! The software gods were with me today!
