Send/Receive Groups, server interruption, and automating groups

Hi all...

I have about 9 email accounts, and have been having trouble
with failed server connections and consequent inability to get
email from a couple of these accounts.

Just discovered that the interaction of Outlook and the email
server at my ISP (not sure exactly where the problem is) prevents
receiving email from all these accounts at the same time.
I get the "connection to server interrupted" error message.

Consequently, I want to divide the list into two or three
groups and automate send/receive so that I don't have to
step through this manually each time.

I've done VBA in Outlook before--can anyone point me at
methods and routines for accomplishing this?

Thanks!

I can't help you with your direct question, but would like to know which
version of Outlook you have. Outlook 2002 did try and connect to all
accounts simultaneously, but Outlook 2003 will limit itself to a single
connection per server. If the problem with interrupted connections is a
result of too many connections, Outlook 2003 might solve your problem as
well.
