Send/Receive frozen

I was also having problems sending and receiving emails. Sometimes it
worked, most times it didn't. Finally, it was taking so long to download
messages (stayed on 1 of 6), that I had to shut down. Got a message that
windows mail was "finishing current message," and it has stayed that way.
Now I cannot send or receive. Any suggestions? Thank you!
 
If you are using either McAfee or Norton antivirus, uninstall the antivirus
program, then try WinMail again. If it still doesn't work, it means your
email account was corrupted by the antivirus program. Remove the
email account, then recreate it.

I read more posts, removed McAfee, and restarted my computer. Worked like a
charm. Thank you!
