Send/Receive All

My e-mail was working fine last week, but today when I try to do the Send/Receive all an error message pops up that says "The operation failed." It doesn't even attempt to do a Send/Receive, the error message comes up automatically. Can anyone help out with this

See if your pst-file isn't larger than 2GB. It could also be that your
mailserver is off-line. You'll need to post more info if this doesn't help
like Outlook version, error numbers, mail service being used (Exchange,
POP3, IMAP, HTTP, other...) and the steps you took already to try to resolve
the problem.
