Hello,

I'm looking to send one ppt slide that has embedded hyperlinks in the body
of an email rather than as an attachment. I've tried saving as many different
file types, but have not been able to make it work. Is this possible to do?
I'm using office 2003.

Thanks,

Jila

Not something you can do.

Thanks Michael. Is it possible to paste into another office format - e.g.
word and send out from there?

You can use the Send to word function found under File Send To:

Hello,

I'm looking to send one ppt slide that has embedded hyperlinks in the body
of an email rather than as an attachment.

That sounds like one possible solution to a problem, but it's a solution that
won't work.

What's the problem though? What are you trying to accomplish?

Similar to what can be done in word, I'm looking to send the contents of a
ppt slide in the body of an email such that the people receiving the email do
not have to open an attachment. The ppt is essentially a summary status,
with the ability to drill down into deeper levels of status through
hyperlinks. I want that drill down capability in the email as well.

Thanks for your help,

Jila

Strictly speaking, you can't do this with Word either, I suspect. If Word is
configured as your email editor in Outlook, then it may work. But with any other
email program, I very much doubt it.

Assuming you use Outlook, it might be worth asking the same question in one of the
sibling newsgroups like this one, but devoted to Outlook.

One other approach would be to put the PPT presentation on the web either as a PPT
or converted to HTML, then send a link to the presentation in the body of the email.
