Send Object Macro

I have a database that had a macro established to automatically attached a
report to an email in snapshot view with the email addresses already filled
in the To: and CC: fields. I used the SendObject function to do this.

We recently migrated from Lotus Notes email to Microsoft Outlook and the
macro does not work now.

I am guessing that it is still possible since Outlook is a Microsoft product
but can someone tell me why it doesn't work anymore? Thank you so much!

AccessIM,

What does "does not work" mean? Nothing happens? Error message? Email
goes but no attachment? Lights go out?

Is Outlook set as your default email client?

Yes, I have Outlook as my default.

When I try to run the macro, I receive a Lotus Notes MailMan Error that says
Access is denied. I get this twice. When I click ok to clear the message,
a second Lotus Notes MailMan Error appears that says Unable to Launch Notes
Client. When I click ok to clear the message, I get a Microsoft Office
Access error that says the password is invalid and the message was not sent.

Sorry should have included that information in the first post.

AccessIM,

I do not know the cause of the problem, but I don't think it can have
anything to do with Access or your macro. The SendObject macro action
does not specify the mail client. It uses whatever you have on your
computer. Since you are getting Notes error messages, it would appear
that the first thing you need to do is tidy up the un-installing of
Notes from your computer, and the correct configuration of Outlook.

Thank you for your time. Unfortunately, I work for one division of a large
corporation and all of our installs and uninstalls are done at our regional
office and programs are shared over a network. We don't even have individual
PCs anymore, we have blades which are stripped of everything but the bare
bones.

It looks like I will just have to find an alternate way of doing this
process.

Thank you so much for your input. These discussion groups and the people
like you who respond are a big asset to me and many others.
