send invite attendees out of calendar gets stuck in draft email

I have tried to open both my calendar and my inbox to send out my invites to
meetings but the 2003 will not let me open 2 windows from their program at
the same time. Is there another way to send e-mail from the calendar?
 
How are you trying to invite the recipients? Please outline it step-by-step
as your post is a little unclear on why you have 2 windows open to send the
invites.
