I designed a CD with FP2003 and wish to add a form to collect data.
I found how to create a form, but I am unable to generate the email.
Can somebody help me ?
Thanks

You need to link to a form that is on your web site, not on the CD.

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

Can you calrify this for me?

Is this so when using the FP form handler only? Would it be
possible to use a custom form handler located on a server if
the form on the cd was sent to the handler page? eg- I use
an asp script page on the server to get the values from the
form, and my action is http://www.domain.com/handler.asp

This should work, as long as the form page is .htm(l) and the user has a
active internet connection, unless a recent security update block it.

Thank You

you cant; the page with the form must be hosted on a web server with the
script that sends the email.
any local-hosted site like that whether on local hard drive or external disk
can't use any Frontpage features or server-side script features.

*any* form handler must be run on a web server. So the answer is "No you
can't do what you're asking".
