Paul

I am using vista notebook.
when I am in I/E wanting to send email with a webpage, I could not send it
out.
I saw the mail is still kept in the Outllook program.
How could I default to windows outgoing mail when sending email in I/E?
Same as what I could do it to Outlook Express in I/E xp.
Thanks.

Click Start, select Default Programs
Click Set program access and computer defaults
Click Custom, and select Windows Mail
Click OK

Then, follow these steps:

Click Set your default programs
Select your mail client from the list
Click Set this program as default
Click OK

Start | Default Programs
Make sure whatever mail program you wish to use has all its defaults.
Outlook and Outlook Express are very different programs. Outlook Express
has been replaced by Windows Mail in Vista. Outlook is still a separate
program that comes either by itself or with Microsoft Office. Outlook 2003
and higher work fine in Vista.

You're welcome!
