Send calendar reminders to phone w/o lowering security

I'd like for Outlook to be able to send calendar reminders to my mobile phone
or other email addressable device to help me stay on top of my appointments.
I've found some VBA code that will do this, but to work it requires I lower
Outlook's security settings. With the number of viruses spread via email
these days, I'm not willing to comprimise security.

In the future, I'd like to see a similar built-in feature within Outlook
that would not only send me email alerts of calendar events (without lowering
security settings), but also allow me to pick and choose which events to be
notified of.

Thanks!!

In the meantime, you can use one of these programs:

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Bob Weston asked:

Bob, you can try out my service free for a month. Once you downloaded the
client software (for Microsoft Outlook) from www.messagingreminder.com, your
reminders will be automatically sent to your mobile phone.

The best part is that you don't have to pay for the software (only the
service, which costs $0.10 per received reminder), download any 3rd party
software, and you'll never receive any ads or spam!

Give it a try and if you don't like it, you can cancel it -- easy and
simple. Thanks, Matt.
