Send an auto "out-of-office" reply?

Does Outlook Express 6 have the abiltiy to send an auto
reply to people that send me email when I tell it to, for
a set time period?

I will be out of the office for a week and won't be able
to check email till I get back. I would liek to send a
short "I'm out of the office till so-and-so" email to
those who email me.

Can I do this? If so, what happens to the emails I get, do
they get put in my inbox?

No, not in OE. You can however create a rule that replies on all e-mails.
The downside of this is that you'll have to have your OE open all the time
for the rules to process. Make sure you set some exceptions (for instance
based on the subject field so it will not reply on subject with e.g. reply,
failed, undeliverable, etc...) otherwhise you could create endless mailloops
between two mailservers and those can be a real threat to the mailservers!
