Send a fax to Spain, but via email

I would like to fax Spain (from the UK) and was wondering if there is a
freeware application (or service) that will allow me to send a fax by
just typing an email as I don't have a fax machine and am using ADSL
internet connection.

I found this free web service but haven't tried it myself. Let us know
how it works.
