I have a Master Slide that uses a design I created for a 30 page
presentation.

Another user is working on a presentation (a different one) and I need
him to use the same design.

Rather then send him the whole 30 page PPT, I wanted to just send him
the master slide so he can just lcik on that as a model, but I am not
sure how to do that.

I tried saving it as a template but it saves the whole presentation--all
30 pages--so that is not the way.

How do I accomplish sending him just the design I want him to use, so it
is really easy for him to create a new presentation but use the design?

Thanks.

Hi Stef,

the steps you took were right. Save the presentation in template format
(.POT). Just delete all the slides he does not need. Your presentation will
show a grey rectangle "Click here to insert slide". Save again. (I usually
insert one or two blank slides to show the user what the design looks like.)

Best regards,
Ute

Hi,

Let me ask one last question:

How do I apply this master slide design to a presentation (already
started - 16 pages) done with a plain design?

I would try to avoid copy/paste of the text of the plain presentation
into the new one with the master slide of choice, but will do it if it
is the only way.

Let me know. Tx.

Thanks.

Hi Stef,

I usually prefer to open a new presentation based on the new template and
import the existing slides with Home - New Slide - Reuse slides. But you can
also use Design - Search for design (at the bottom of the Themes list).

Best regards,
Ute
