I recently purchased a new 22inch NEC FE2111sb monitor and it's very nice.
However
quite by accident I found out that it seems the red gun has a problem and
doesn't look
good on the top left corner of the screen. NEC will only give me a
refurbished unit in
exchange even though the unit is less than 2 months old and the problem was
probably there from day one. I could send it for repair, but I would have
to mail it
at my cost to another city and perhaps wait a month for repair. For a
higher end
monitor, this just doesn't seem right. I guess one NEC manager said yes
give me a new
monitor and another said no. I'm not going to take a used monitor for
something I
just paid almost $1000Cdn for less than 60 days ago.
Opinions?
Games sure are nice on it however.
