I am having the same problem
We are using Access 2003. I have used the SelfCert.exe program over the past few weeks to create a certificate for testing purposes on my own machine. Yesterday, I received a message while saving a module within Access that the certificate was no longer valid and was being discarded. I tried to create a new certificate using SelfCert.exe, but it gives me the message
"An error occurred during certificate creation. SelfCert was unable to create your certificate
I don't understand why this does not work all of the sudden
Before it stopped working I did uninstall a copy of Access 97 that I had on my machine, so to see if this was the cause of the problem, I reinstalled Office 2003, but this did not help
Also, my network password changed -- could this have caused a problem? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
