Can anyone tell me how to get a slide show on cd so that it auto runs and
requires no input from the operator.

That is I want them to load the cd then sit back and watch as it auto
starts and runs. The slide has been created and ready to use, just can't
seem to find the right thing to get it as a self running slide show.

TIA

A self-running presentation, or Kiosk presentation, needs to have all
animations set to WITH PREVIOUS or AFTER PREVIOUS (ie. no animations that
require mouse click). Then slide transitions need to be timed. This is
easiest to accomplish in the slide sorter view. Right click your first slide
and choose SLIDE TRANSITION. In the lower left, checkmark AUTOMATICALLY
AFTER and give it a set number of seconds. Repeat for each slide (or faster
is to select group of slides or select all slides and apply the setting and
timing to those slides).

You can also go to SLIDE SHOW on the top menu bar and select SET UP SHOW.
Checkmark the LOOP UNTIL ESC, so after the final slide the presentation
loops back to slide #1 and plays again (and again and again).

As for making it autorun from a CD, if you are using PowerPoint 2003 this
option is now built in. If using PowerPoint XP or early I recommend Sonia
Coleman's excellent add-in that does it all for you! Get the details here:

Have fun!
