Self quarantine(ing) spyware(s)

Certain Spywares i have at the moment, change the instructions of Microsoft
Anti-Spyware to Quarantine rather than Remove. Is there any way to prevent
this? Or would i have to go in and manually delete each piece one by one?
(Overview shows there are approximately 30-50 for each, which would take a
LONG time, and then self replicate to make everything much worse, So I would
prefer to not have to do that.)

Thanks in Advance for any Help.

This decision is made by Microsoft, I believe, rather than the spyware
vendor. It is based on a number of issues, including potential for data
loss and relative risk of not removing something.

Trend Micro does this with cookies---talk about annoying!

Okay, I see that, but don't I? make the decision? I'm given the option. To
Remove, Quarantine, Or Do Nothing, to these Two Severe Danger Rated
Spyware(s). But you're saying the program goes around what i say, by what it
is prgrammed to think. I just want to make sure i'm not mis-understanding.
I've run it a few times, yet it always, no matter what i choose, decides to
simply quarantine the virus. Yet the pop ups and everything bad, still
continue if they have been quarantined. So should I or should I not go ahead
and remove these prgrams one signature at a time, Or is there something else
i can do. No other anti spyware seems to help either McAffee or Norton
Anti-Virus. So what would you recommend. Thanks again Bill.

Sorry - I think I did misunderstand.

Of course you, in the end, make the decision.

I don't have a perfect picture of what you are seeing, I think, but it is
clear that your machine hasn't been cleaned properly.

If the spyware was in quarantine, it wouldn't be active still--and it
clearly is.

Have you tried doing full.deep scans, and also scanning with your updated
antivirus, in safe mode?

If that doesn't do the job, I'd recommend trying a trial download of Ewido,
and also posting the particular names of bugs involved here--there are
experts who can give precise prescriptions to get a particular bug cleaned
with a bit more info.
