Self Driving Cars

So whos to blame if the OS crashes and then the car crashes.

I'm sure it will be in a log of some kind that the system was running at the time in which case the manufacturer will be to blame?

OH that's easy ...

Insert key, or if they are really with it put your thumb on the dash ...

"do you wish to start the Car" press OK to continue

"are you sure" press OK to continue

"press OK that you have read the EUL" (which WILL state that you are now totally responsible for any death or injury cased by any malfuction) press OK to continue

"press F8 that you HAVE read the EUL" press OK to continue

"are you sure?!" press OK to continue

"sorry, your thumb print has not been recognised, please try again" press OK to continue

"are you sure" press OK to continue

:D

All this is taking that someone has not kidnapped you in a robbery attempt and cut off your thumb or made you press it on panel, drove the car and crashed it whilst you still in it.
