Can Outlook 2003 self-delete emails after expiry of certain time from the
receivers Inbox. If yes, then how do we set these options..

No, that would be up to the configuration of the recipient. You can set an
expire date on your message though which could help with the organizing
methods of the recipient. To set an expire date click the Options button
when composing a message.

When composing an e-mail, one of the options is "expire after". While you
can set that option (which adds an "Expiry-Date" header to the e-mail), that
doesn't guarantee the recipient is using an e-mail client that will honor
that header. Also, in Outlook, for example, a recipient can disable the
option to delete expired items which is an auto-archive option - but then
most Outlook users don't enable the auto-archive function.

If you are in a corporate environment using Outlook 2007 and Exchange (don't
remember the minimum version of Exchange) and where they deployed the RMS
(Rights Management Services) server than you can put conditions on your
e-mails but only for other recipients within that same Exchange/RMS
environment.
