Hi, I am trying to figure out how to selectivly block popup with
proxomitron. There are only a *few* sights which i need popups (the
kill pop ups kills the "compose window" on the site i use for email
and a few others. I just wanted to essentially tell proxomitron to
'kill all popups *except* fill-in-the-site' (forgive me if this is a
simplistic question but i'm a bit of a novice). It seems like that
shouldn't be to hard but i can't seem to figure it out.

Any help or perhaps a point in the right direction would be greatly
appreciated!

Cheers

Here's the easiest way:

In the URL Match field, put the sites you want excluded from the kill
popups filter. Use the "^" sign to exclude them. For example.

URL Match: (^*groups.yahoo.com*|*nytimes.com*)

This tells Proxo to kill all popups except those at Yahoo groups or the
New York Times.

If you have a long list of sites to exclude, you'd want to use Proxo's
$LST function.

Have you tried Opera's setting "Open requested popups only"?
