Selective Routing with VPN / PPTP

Hello,

I have set up a Windows 2000 Advanced Server as a VPN server with PPTP
inside the campus lab. Everytime I connect from home, all my current
connections are interrupted and everything has to be re-routed through the
new connection.

How can I set it up so that only connections to the lab network are routed
through that VPN connection leaving all other connections to use the usual
internet connection?

Any help is appreciated

Uncheck "Use default gateway on remote network" on the TCP/IP properties of
the VPN connection on your client.
